How J Blades t/a Piano Recycling (ICO registration C1935467) handles your data. Short version: we use your details to deliver, tune and collect a piano, and for nothing else.
Your name, address, postcode, phone number and email, plus anything you tell us about access. We collect it when you book and we need all of it to get a piano to you.
Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe holds your card on file so the four-weekly rental can be taken, and you can see their privacy notice at stripe.com.
Your booking goes onto our own operations schedule so the right van and the right piano turn up on the right day, and your tuning visit is scheduled from the same record. We send you a booking confirmation, a message the day before delivery, and messages about tuning and collection.
We do not sell your details, we do not share them with anyone who is not involved in delivering, tuning or collecting your piano, and we will not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
The tuner who visits you, and our own drivers. Our systems run on Cloudflare, Smartsheet, Stripe and Resend, all of which process data on our behalf under contract.
For as long as you rent from us, then for six years afterwards because HMRC requires us to keep records of what we have invoiced.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it once we no longer need it. Email hello@pianorental.uk and we will deal with it. If we get it wrong you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
